The objects on exhibition have been designed to minimize different consequences of their purchase and exploitation. All of these relate to the influence on an individual as well as a whole society and the environment. All presented objects have been created to improve user’s life and help him or her in situations connected with satisfying one’s needs, e.g. an access to clean water, light or medical treatment. Authors focused on negative consequences of using products that are already available on the market and propose their own that could replace them. The price, the resource use, time of usefulness or the energy efficiency are the most basic problems that designers encountered. What is the effect – this is an open-end question.
