For an innovative take on the design process, where not only the final product matters, but also the production process and materials needed for its realisation, for noticing the needs of a fellow human being in a visually eye pleasing way and foremost for its functionality – the jury decided to award this project with the Grand Prix award.
Interprint award ,that was handed on by the Interpint Marketing & Sales Manager – Sylwia Lasota, was given to the project Open Air Classroom by Aleksandra Szewc. The prize is a trip to Furniture Days workshops at the headquarters of Interprint (Arnsberg, Germany). Interprint Furniture Days is an interesting dialogue between famous representatives of the furniture industry. During this event creative design team presents the most fashionable and hottest trends for the upcoming seasons. An organisator’s goal is to present to its partners from the furniture industry the process of creating trends, including their interpretation and how they are being transfered into products that are ready to be introduced on the market.
Wojciech Gackowski – Member of the Board at Wilson&Brown, a company being a partner of many festival arrangements, awarded Dominika Wysogląd for Orange Lab project with a possibility to realise her project’s prototype and with a month long internship at the Design Office of the company.
Kinga’s Chmielarz project “Latarnia” was awarded by the Dytron company, award was handed on by Piotr Kozłowski- Biznes Development Manager. This award consist of CATIA Dessault Systems software.
Other honors were awarded by the Festival’s media patronage – Meble.pl S.A. for a project DESTA – table and chair, a tablet was given to its author – Anna Wójcik.
Post contest exhibition is located on the first floor of the Building B in the Art_Inkubator.
